Crystal Marie Joseph

Crystal "Crys." Joseph, 41, died on October 25 2022, related to a traumatic brain injury from a fall.

She was born on April 24, 1981 in Fort Ord, California to Lonnie and LaDonna (Lang) Joseph.

Crystal attended grades K-3 at Kennedy elementary school in Hastings, before moving to Inver Grove Heights where she graduated in 1999 from Simley High School. She obtained her AA degree, specializing in Human Services, from Inver Grove Community College. Crystal enjoyed working with children and senior's. She was also a strong advocate for victims of sexual abuse. She truly had a passion for helping others.

She enjoyed traveling with her grandparents and always longed to return to San Diego to visit friends and family.

Crystal is survived by her parents; aunt, Cheryl Lang; father figure,Tom Steinmueller and special friend, Brad Ely. Also survived by Uncle Bill Reed from Iowa, cousins Bryan Reed and family from Winona, MN and Laura Reed and family from Phoenixville, PA. Also by cousins Wayne Haire and family from Poway, CA and Lorri Merrin and family from Castle Rock, WA.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Edward & Dorothy Lang; Aunt, LaDene (Lang) Reed of Iowa.

Burial will be in the Collette Cemetery in Fairmont, Oklahoma at a later date.
