Constance "Connie" Rieger

Constance "Connie" Lynn Rieger, passed away on October 3, 2022 at United Hospital in St. Paul, Minnesota.

She was born April 7, 1965 at Regina Hospital in Hastings to Ronald "Rocky" and Katherine "Kathie" Peterson.

Connie graduated from Hastings High School with the class of 1983.

On April 20, 1985 Connie married James Rieger at Our Saviors Lutheran Church.

She worked for Smead Manufacturing for 31 years until they closed, then worked at Regina Hospital for 6 years where she made great friends at both places.

Connie always enjoyed life and never stressed out about anything. She had a friendly smile, loving personality and positive attitude. Connie also loved fishing and always caught the first fish. She loved her Minnesota Vikings, making greeting cards and doing crafts with her besties. She loved her hubby and boys to the moon and spoiling her grand babies made her the happiest.

She was preceded in death by her mom, Kathie; 2 brothers and grandparents.

Connie is survived by her hubby of 38 years, James; sons, Joshua, Cody, Logan (Lauren), Tucker (Taybri); grandchildren, Aurelia, Quinn and Aurora; dad, Ronald "Rocky" Peterson; brother, Duey (Heather) Peterson; sister-in-law, Pam (Bill) Nicoll and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and wonderful friends.

Visitation will be Sunday, October 9, 2022 from 2:00 pm - 5:00 pm at the Starkson Family Life Celebration Chapel in Hastings. A Celebration of Life service will be 11:00 am Monday, October 10, 2022 at Starkson Family Life Celebration Chapel with visitation one hour prior. Interment will be in the Lakeside Cemetery in Hastings.
