Charles "Dean" Delarbre

September 4, 1944 — February 17, 2023

Charles Dean DeLarbre, age 78, passed away peacefully after suffering a stroke on Friday, February 17, 2023.


Charles Dean, better known as "Dean", was born to parents Charles "Chuck" and Frances DeLarbre on September 4, 1944. Dean married his high school sweetheart, Laura shortly after high school and were happily married until her passing. He had a wonderful career as a truck driver hauling hazardous materials for Praxiar. Dean never had an accident or a ticket throughout his driving career, winning him numerous awards for his exceptional driving. He was a Teamsters Union steward for his shop and was recognized by the CEO Praxiar corporate board who flew him out to New York to acknowledge his great efforts.


Dean was a huge cat lover and had two of his own, Reggie and Minnie. He was a computer, audio, and video genius and was fascinated by everything about them. He also enjoyed music of every genre. Dean was a very generous and special person with an unlimited capacity for unconditional love for everyone around him. He had a great sense of livelihood and had a great sense of humor by always cracking hilarious jokes. He helped anyone in need and did everything to support his family.


He is survived by his daughter, Christine (Brian) Goatley (DeLarbre); three grandchildren; several great- grandchildren; sister, Diane Willerman; nephew, David (Michelle) Willerman; and "adopted" daughter, Amy Moulton.


Dean is preceded in death by his wife, Laura; his son, Kevin; and both of his parents.
