Charlene Mary (Fuchs) Fort

Charlene Mary (Fuchs) Fort, age 65, of Hastings, passed away at Regions Hospital in St. Paul on December 9, 2022. Charlene was born on July 30, 1957 in Hastings at Regina Memorial Hospital to Alvin (Bud) and Madeline (Meier) Fuchs. Char loved creating art, singing, fishing, dancing and blessing others. She is known for her giving heart and her kind spirit. Char was often heard laughing before she was seen. She expressed her love through gifts, hugs, baked treats and smothering you with kisses. Char had shared many happy memories with her family at their dairy farm in Afton and later their apple orchard in Hastings. Her kind words and endless smiles will be greatly missed.

Charlene, a loving sister, daughter, aunt and friend, was preceded in death by her parents, Bud and Madeline, former husband Tim Fort, brother Ron and sister Laurie (Fuchs) Boston. She is survived by her brothers Scott (Kathy) Fuchs and Terry (Dana) Fuchs, her sisters Donna (Al) Teuber, Gloria (Ken) Murphy, Linda (Glen) Howard, Cheryl Stevensen and many nieces nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

A funeral service for Charlene will be held Tuesday, December 13 at 3:00PM at Starkson Family Life Celebration Chapel with a visitation from 1:00 - 3:00PM. Burial will be held at Saint Elizabeth Ann Seton Cemetery.
