Catherine "Cathie" N. Boos

Catherine N Boos,

Age 81 of Apple Valley, born April 30, 1942 in St. Paul, MN to Raymond and Bernice Faschingbauer, passed away peacefully surrounded by family, March 30, 2024.

For many years Cathie operated her interior design business, Catherine’s Interiors, and traveled widely with her husband, Tom. She loved entertaining, playing bridge, spending time with her many friends and, above all, family gatherings. Her cooking and baking were celebrated by four generations of family.

Cathie will be dearly missed by her loving husband of 62 years, Tom; sons, Marty (R.J.) and Matt (Mia); granddaughters, Chloe and Maddie; sisters, Margie (Roger) McGuire and Barbie Faschingbauer; brother, Charles “Chuck” Kranz, and many other nieces, nephews, family and friends.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM, Saturday, April 20, 2024 with a visitation one hour before at Henry W Anderson Mortuary, 14850 Garrett Ave. in Apple Valley.  Cathie will be laid to rest at Ft. Snelling National Cemetery on Monday.
