Brennan M. Harris

Brennan Mac Harris, age 23, passed away unexpectedly in his sleep on March 21, 2023.

Brennan was born on July 28, 1999, in Hastings, MN to Timothy Harris and Shannon Todnem. As a child, Brennan enjoyed looking at American flags and playing sports such as soccer and wrestling. Growing up he was a huge WWE Wresting fan, and he loved to practice all the moves he learned on his siblings. As he grew older, he enjoyed long boarding, working out, running and video games. He was a talented artist and could draw anything that was put in front of him. Most of all, he had a great love of music. You could usually find him listening to his favorite music or practicing his favorite songs on his guitar.

Throughout his life, he was full of energy and creativity, that showed what a heart of gold he had. Brennan had a love for animals, especially cats, even though he was allergic. He was a free spirit. He believed in fairness and equality for all creatures whether they walked on two legs or four. Brennan was the type of person who could spark up a conversation with anyone and listen to their stories for hours on end. If he came across someone who was in need, he would share his time, money and food with them. He was a character whose smile lit up a room, whose energy and presence filled whatever place he was at and whose laughter brought peace to any situation. He was a selfless and giving person whose light shined on everyone he met. He will truly be missed and will never be forgotten.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Warren "Red" and Irene Harris; uncle Warren Harris; maternal grandfather, Doug Hegeman; aunts Teresa Turner (adopted Mom), Karen Decker; and uncles, Rick McPherson.

He is survived by his significant other, Danielle Sander; father, Timothy Harris (Michelle, Eric, Nicole); mother, Shannon Todnem; siblings, Chad (Julia) Harris, Jordan Tostenson, Britni (Nick) Peterson, Ian Todnem, Kaity (Troy) Todnem, Josh Courneya; nephews and nieces, Isabella, Chad Jr., Ann Marie, Carter, Charlotte, Dex, Kaliyah, and Kingston; and many other aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

His light shined so bright that addiction could not dim it.

A service will be held at 3:00 P.M. at Starkson Family Life Celebration Chapel in Hastings, MN on Thursday, March 30, 2023 with a visitation starting at 1:00 P.M.
