"Bob"

Robert G. Bohn, age 90 of Hastings, Minnesota, passed away on May 19th, 2023.

Robert (Bob) was born in St. Paul, Minnesota on February 27, 1933 to Theodore and Martha Bohn. He was enlisted in the army and stationed in Alaska, where he really enjoyed his time and made many memories. Robert was married to Juanita in 1962, and they were blessed with Rob, Vickie, Randy and Jim as children. Robert was an over the road truck driver-Local 120#. He then retired and started his business B&B Construction-moving houses, pouring basements and septics. After his wife Juanita passed away, he took over The Old Mill Pawn in Hastings, which he kept open until 2021. Robert was a councilman in Vermillion township for 18 years. He loved people and he had many hobbies, flying rental planes being one of his favorites. Robert always had a heart for animals, adopting many pets such as horses, dogs and cats.

Robert was preceded in death by his wife Juanita; parents Theodore and Martha; and brothers Teddy, Eddie, and Dick.

He is survived by his children Rob, Vickie, Randy and Jim; 8 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.

A burial for Robert will take place at 12:30 p.m. on June 12 at Fort Snelling.
