Beverly J Burr

Beverly J. "Bev" Burr, age 89 of Hastings, died peacefully at home on Sunday morning, December 10, 2023.

Beverly Jean was born May 3, 1934 to parents Tom Dunbar and Marion Saba. Beverly was the most kind and giving person with a huge amount of compassion to everyone around her. She had a sense of loyalty and kindness and left a little bit of love everywhere she went. Bev was a very creative person and often enjoyed sewing and coloring. She was very dedicated to her family and everyone of her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren and cherished the time she was able to spend with them.

We love you Mom.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Ray.

She is survived by her children, Roy Mallette Jr, Walter Mallette, Theresa Hill, Deborah Burr, Michael Burr, Timothy Burr, Kimberly Burr, and Mary Edgeberg, and lifelong best friends, Maureen Fasbender and Sylvia Durray; as well as many grandchildren and many great-grand children and many loving friends and family.

To all our family, we simply can't name you all in this obituary, because it's inevitable that we'll forget someone somehow. To be part of such a huge family, and have to say that, is so incredible and wonderful. You know who you are and this is to tell you that we acknowledge you all in the word "Many". It's not intended to minimize our exclude, if you know our family, then you know. And you know you are truly loved.

A memorial service for Beverly will be held on Saturday, January 6, 2024 at 1 p.m., with a visitation for 2 hours prior at Starkson Family Life Celebration Chapel in Hastings, MN. For those who are unable to be present for the service, it will be live-streamed on Starkson's website directly below Beverly's obituary.
