Beau Kenneth James Dyrssen

Beau Kenneth James Dyrssen, age 9 of Hastings, passed away peacefully after a courageous battle with cancer on October 20, 2024.

Beau was born and raised in Hastings, Minnesota. He attended Pinecrest Elementary. Beau had a great love for the outdoors, especially fishing, baseball, and hockey.

Beau loved to learn new things and write stories. He would do many things in his free time, including helping work outside with horses, riding around in the skid steer, working on vehicles, plowing snow, and playing video games.

He was the sweetest boy who wore his heart on his sleeve. Beau loved people and especially loved trying to make everyone’s day a bit brighter with his signature Beau smile and hugs, even when he wasn’t feeling well.

Beau is survived by his mother, Charlene Dyrssen; grandparents, Rich (Joleen) Dyrssen; and by many other family and friends.

A Celebration of Life for Beau will be held from 1:00 - 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, November 3, 2024 at Starkson Family Life Celebration Chapel, Hastings with a Time of Sharing to begin at 1:00 p.m. Family and friends will be encouraged to share memories of Beau during this time.

In lieu of flowers, memorials to the family are preferred.
