Barbara R. Anderson

She lived well and loved well. Barbara Ruth Anderson, age 84, of Hastings MN, passed away on December 19th at White Pine Memory Care in Cottage Grove.

Barbara was born in Cloquet MN on July 9, 1940 to Roy, and Margaret Anderson.

She graduated Cloquet High School in 1957 and worked many jobs throughout her life. Such jobs include Diamond Match and Johnson CO., in Cloquet. She worked for over 25 years as a beloved Blackjack Dealer at Treasure Island Casino.

Barbara is preceded in death by her parents, Roy and Margaret Anderson; and her sister, Carol Randa.

Barbara is survived by her five children, Jenine Boss of Apple Valley, Michael Boss of Hastings, Russell Boss of Austin, Christine Williams of Rochester and Diane Zezulka of Cloquet; six grandchildren, Travis, Daniel, Katie, Tawny, Brendan and Aaron; four great-grandchildren, Sadie, Paige, Jackson and Owen, as well as many other family members.

Barbara's family wants to thank Starkson Family Life Celebration Chapel for their support.

In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to the Alzheimer's Association.

A Celebration of Life for Barbara will be held on Monday, January 6, 2024 from 4 pm to 7 pm at Starkson Family Life Celebration Chapel, 3075 Vermilion Street, Hastings MN 55033.
