Adeline E. Schroeder

Adeline Elsie Schroeder "Addie", age 76, of Hastings, MN, passed away peacefully on December 5th, 2024 at Abbott Northwestern Hospital in Minneapolis, MN.

Adeline was born in Red Wing, MN to Harold and Elsie Jacobson on August 31st, 1948. She gradated from high school in 1966 and later worked as a Deputy City Clerk for the city of Hastings for 20 years. She enjoyed spending time with her family and grandchildren, cooking, baking, watching hummingbirds, and tending to her flowers all around the house.

Adeline was preceded in death by her father, Harold Jacobson; mother, Elsie Jacobson; brothers, Harry Jacobson and Herb Jacobson; sisters, Helen Jacobson, Dorthy Rehder, Kathy Jacobson, and Margaret Jacobson; and brother-in-law, Leon Meixner.

Adeline is survived by her husband of 56 years, Bernard Schroeder; sons, John (Cassie) Schroeder, Joseph (Veronica) Schroeder; and daughter, Jamie (Kevin) Peterson; sisters, Elaine (Ron) Edlund, Carolyn Meixner; and brothers, Richard Jacobson, Bud (Janice) Rehder. She is also survived by her 6 grandchildren, Noah, Isaac, Joshua, Aaron, Jocelyn, and Julianne.

Adeline was a beloved wife, mother, sister, aunt, and friend. She will be missed by many.

A Funeral Service for Adeline will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, December 13, 2024 at Starkson Family Life Celebration Chapel, 3075 Vermillion Street in Hastings, MN, with a visitation at 9:30 am until the time of the service at the funeral home.

Starkson Family Life Celebration Chapel is handling arrangements.
